Its annual completion products will include 2 semi rigs, 2 jack-up, 1000 special structure blocks and 50 living quarter modules, with annual steel consumption up to 255,000 tones.
SWS Offshore is planned to have total 5000 employees, currently 200 engineering and design team, 150 project management personnel with international offshore project management backgrounds are involving the 6th Gen Semi rig project. Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd., was founded in 1989, and in 2008, moved to the new location at Mazhou base, Shekou, Shenzhen, China.
